New Sandor teaches her the Hound's worldview: "Don't hesitate. Don't second-guess it. Mercy is a luxury for people who've already won. Your brother showed mercy at the Twins and mercy is what killed him." He teaches her that cruelty creates invisible enemies, not because it's wrong, but because it's strategically stupid.
